CAR SHOW

Stepan Center

Free for Notre Dame Students and Faculty

The one day event will feature a public showing of thirteen of Exner’s milestone show and production cars from the '50s and '60s, which are valued at over $9 million. Cars on display will include:

Dozens of vintage Chrysler and Studebaker production cars will also be on display outside the Stepan Center. "Exner Fan" car clubs from across the country will be in attendance.

Automotive historian Peter Grist will be onhand to sign his book, Virgil Exner: Visioneer (Veloce Publishing) beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Stepan Center.

LECTURE

Virgil Exner's Influence on the "Fabulous Fins Era"

The Snite Museum will be hosting an evening lecture, given by Peter Grist, in the Annenberg Auditorium, featuring images from Chrysler's Exner Era.

The lecture will be free and open to the public. However, auditorium capacity is limited, so arriving early for seating is highly encouraged and recommended.

Additionally, two restored vintage Exner Era cars will also be displayed on the walkways outside the Snite throughout the day.
